My favorite part was learning the history and context of yoga and getting a broader idea of what it is. I didn’t know much before the YTT, I just knew I loved practicing asana (the poses) and enjoyed the effect it had on my mental health. Now I understand more how and why that is, and I feel gratitude towards my teachers and my teachers teachers for yoga which has become so important to me. I love Mano, he is a rare person, so experienced and knowledgeable and loves to patiently work with everyone individually, I’m so glad I did my training here specifically at Ayama.
